Initial Posting

Hi Everyone!! This is my absolute first blog and so this is all new to me as everyone else. Bear with me! :) My name is Michele and I have recently moved to Fresno California about 1yr ago. I am currently practicing as a Registered Nurse in pediatrics and have been a nurse for about 5 1/2 yrs but I have been in the health care field as a CNA for an additional 3 yrs. I love working with children and as you can see I have two lovely little nieces and so to have another little niece/nephew in a few months. I have two older sisters Robin and Heather and both are happily married. Robin's daughter is Addison who has the dark brown hair and just turned two. Heather's daughter Autumn is 2 1/2 years old and has the reddish hair. Both are my little angels and I wish I could see them and my family more often. I have two cats Oscar and Marley and am also currently in a relationship with my boyfriend Mike for about 6 years. Going to school and working full time is challenging but I know it will be worth it in the end when I get my bachelor's degree in nursing.

My focus in this course:
To be healthy inside and out is to identify and change those factors that inhibit you from having a positive and healthy lifestyle. To focus on the inner and outer consciousness involved in integral healing.

Hi Michele!
Nice job on setting up your first blog. It is also my first and am not quite sure what to expect, but I'm looking forward to getting to know classmates on a whole other level then my previous courses. Your neices are beautiful:) I have 4 children but do have 2 neices and 1 nephew and let me tell you....I could raise them as my own. I love them so much! I am also a nurse and find that this course will be so important to defining what our own wellness means in our lives but what it means to live it and convey it to our patients is so important as well. I look forward to sharing in your future blogs;)

I know what it is like to work full time as a nurse and go to school full time. It is quite demanding, but it will be worth it in the end. I know you must love pediatric nursing! My very first job as a RN was on a pediatric floor and I have worked with children in some shape or form ever since. You did a great job setting up you blog. Good luck with your studies!
